CURVE IV TESTING OF PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULE PERFORMANCE
The IV curve test of photovoltaic modules is used to verify the actual performance of the modules, i.e., whether they produce as much as they should.
The test consists of measuring the voltage and current of the modules using a reference cell for solar radiation and a temperature probe connected to the module.
The instrument calculates the theoretical yield value under the conditions detected and compares it with the actual measured value. Two yield curves are generated (one theoretical and one measured)
which must overlap as much as possible in order to obtain a positive result.
