TESTING AND PERFORMANCE OF PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS
The testing of photovoltaic systems verifies the yield on both the panel side and the inverter side.
Amperometric clamps and AC and DC terminals are connected to measure current and voltage.
Using a radiation probe and a temperature probe, the instrument estimates the expected efficiency of the system under the given conditions and compares it with the actual efficiency measured, indicating a performance index.
This index must be greater than 0.87 to be compliant. If it is lower, this indicates a problem in the system.
