Description
LZQJ meters are equipped with a variety of communication options. The XC meter has an RS485 or RS232 electrical port. The SGM meter has an Ethernet port, an RS232 or RS485 electrical port, and a P1 port. Both meters have a slot for plug in modules and are equipped with pulse outputs.
The special feature of these types of communication is that they can be used simultaneously, offering greater flexibility and versatility when using the meter.
Variomod internal modules
These modules are designed to be plugged into the LZQJ meters. Four versions are available:
- MODEM GSM/LTE: Makes the meter remotely readable both by the distributor and by the user
- MODBUS GATEWAY : Makes it possible to connect the meter to a wide range of monitoring systems
- ETHERNET: Makes it possible to connect the meter to the network and makes it accessible via the Internet
- RS485/RS232 INTERFACE: Increases the number of electrical ports available on the meter
External communication systems
LZQJ meters have an RS485 or RS232 electrical port that can be used to integrate communication systems that comply with standards and private requirements. Two types of modems are available:
- EXTERNAL GSM/GPRS MODEM: Makes the meter remotely readable both by the distributor and by the user
- MODBUS GATEWAY: Makes it possible to connect the meter to a wide range of monitoring systems, both via RTU and via TCP IP; a single Gateway allows for the communication protocol to be converted up to a maximum of 3 meters
